Le Coq Hardi

The name “Le Coq Hardi” is named after a Belgian beer which was very popular in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France where Christophe (the owner) used to live. He chose this name because it reminds him of his childhood and also because “Coq” which means “Rooster” is the symbol of France.

Christophe

Christophe was born in the north of France on a farm where he lived surrounded not only by his family but also by fresh local products. 30 years ago he left France to come to London and worked in the best Mayfair’s restaurants. This gave hime the opportunity to learn everything about the restaurant trade. In 2013 he got the chance to make his dream come true…opening his own restaurant in Clapham.

Marie

She is passionate and full of great ideas and worked on the menu with Christophe in order to provide the gourmet dishes to put before you.
